ジャズ／ロック・ギタリストの川崎燎さんが4月13日に逝去したことがわかった。享年73歳。
1947年2月25日に東京で生まれ、日本大学を卒業した川崎さんは、1973年ニューヨークに移住。1976年に日本人として初めて米「RCA」と契約し傑作ジャズ・ファンク・アルバム『ジュース』をリリースした。19
